Students in Years 3-6 have the opportunity to participate in Athletics. The Years 3-6 Athletics Carnival is held in Term 2 and at this event, every student is given an opportunity to participate and compete for her House. Students who perform well are then selected to represent Ravenswood and compete at the IPSHA Carnival in Term 3, where there is the opportunity to be selected and progress to NSWCIS, NSWPSSA and School Sport Australia Championships.
Athletics training occurs throughout Terms 2 and 3 before school on the Ravenswood Oval or after school in conjunction with UTS Norths Athletics Club, at the Rotary Athletics Field, West Chatswood. All students participating in Athletics are encouraged to join the Club to gain more competition experience.
